Jeanne Taylor was raised in Michigan and spent her summers in Ontario, Canada on Lake Huron. She loves creating something out of nothing!
Jeanne has a bachelors in theatre/music and a masters in psychology. She’s fascinated by people and what makes them tick! An Indie sweetheart, she has earned many leading actress awards for projects she has written, directed, edited and produced. The Detroit Free Press reviewed Jeanne as, “Deserving a local Tony if there were such a thing.” Acting in Chicago, Detroit and Los Angeles, Jeanne has performed in over 40 plays. Also, an improviser, Jeanne is an Upright Citizen’s Brigade performer. She has a passion to see women over 45 years old viewed on screen as lead characters. She is part of Stowe Feature Campus. Her feature script, SHOW UP! is a Stowe Story selection. An honored Semi-Finalist at Big Apple Film Festival. Her comedy pilot, Battle Ax, won Best Teleplay at Hollywood Reel Film Festival and Semi-finalist in ISA Sundance 2023 competition. Recently, Jeanne completed another full length play, CAMP SPA, a comedy murder mystery. MOUSE TRAP meets NOISES OFF. Jeanne is married to Thom Floutz, special make-up effects artist. Their white boxer Sammi makes them laugh everyday. |
